Tips for New Riders

Getting started as a Chowdeck Rider? These tips will help you hit the ground running and deliver with confidence.

  • Keep your phone charged and connected
Your phone is your most important tool. Ensure it's fully charged before heading out, and stay in areas with strong internet connectivity so you don’t miss order notifications or updates.

  • Always use a proper delivery bag
A delivery bag helps keep food hot, secure, and upright during transit. Avoid delivering food with bare hands or using inappropriate carriers.

  • Communicate clearly and politely
If there’s a delay or a location issue, let the customer know promptly. Clear communication is important for a smooth delivery experience.

  • Get familiar with the Rider App before you start
Take time to explore the app’s layout : understand where to view orders, chat with support, mark pickups and deliveries, and report issues. Being comfortable with the app reduces mistakes and stress on your first few deliveries.

  • Stay professional on the road
Wear clean clothing, follow traffic rules, and represent Chowdeck well. Riders are the face of the brand to customers.
