How to Set Up Your Chowsmart Menu
You can set up your Chowsmart menu in minutes by following these steps:
On the Vendor App:
Go to the Menu tab
Select Chowsmart and tap on the + icon to create your first Chowsmart menu
Create your meal (up to 3 Chowsmart meals allowed):
Upload a clear, appetising photo.
Enter the meal name and description
(e.g., "Jollof Combo")
Set your price
Specify how many you can prepare per hour
Indicate a prep time (must be 5 minutes or less)
4. Tap Request Approval
5. Send an email to [email protected] for approval of your Chowsmart menu item
6. Once approved:
You’ll get a push notification and email.
Your meal will show in the Chowsmart section.
Mark it In Stock to start receiving orders.
How Pricing & Commission Works
Chowsmart uses a simple, transparent model:
A 35% commission is applied to your meal price
Your earnings update in real time as you input a price
e.g. ₦6,000 meal = ₦3,900 payout
