Chowdeck's Ads Platform is live at grow.chowdeck.com. As a vendor or partner, you can create campaigns, choose placements, fund your wallet, and track performance — entirely on your own, anytime.

No more going back and forth with the Chowdeck team to run ads. You're in full control.

Getting Started

When you first log in to grow.chowdeck.com, you'll see a quick onboarding checklist on your Dashboard:

  1. Add your TIN — your Tax Identification Number is required before you can run ads

  2. Fund your wallet — load your ads wallet with the amount you want to spend

  3. Create your first campaign — choose a placement, upload your creative, and go live

How to Create a Campaign

Go to Campaigns → Create Campaign and follow these steps:

Step 1: Choose your campaign objective — pick one of: Increase Visibility, Get More Orders, Get New Customers, or Promote a New Item

Step 2: Select your placement — choose from the ad types available for your account (see pricing table below)

Step 3: Upload your creative — for the Dynamic Top Banner, use 1496×256px, max 1.5MB. Other placements have their own specs shown in the form

Step 4: Set your destination URL — this is where users land when they tap your ad. Must be an http, https, or chowdeck:// deep link

Step 5: Schedule your campaign — the earliest possible start date is the next day, as Chowdeck requires one day for internal creative review. Leave the end date blank to run until budget is exhausted

Step 6: Set your budget — the platform shows you a live estimate of how many impressions your budget will get (e.g. "At ₦2,500 CPM, your budget of ₦50,000 gets approximately 20,000 impressions")

Step 7: Toggle Daily Budget Pacing (optional) — this spreads your budget evenly across each day of the campaign

Step 8: Accept T&Cs — confirm your creative complies with the Chowdeck Advertising Policy

Step 9: Save Draft or Submit for Review — drafts are saved for later; submissions enter Chowdeck's review queue and go live once approved

About CPM: CPM = Cost Per 1,000 Impressions. The campaign form shows a live estimate of impressions based on your budget before you submit.

About Featured & Explore Listings (Bidding): These use a second-price auction. You set a weekly bid starting from the floor price (₦85,000/week for Featured; ₦60,000/week for Explore). The highest bidder wins the slot but only pays ₦1 more than the second-highest bid — so you always get fair value.

Frequently Asked Questions

My campaign is not running — what should I do?

Check the following before contacting support:

  1. Is your campaign status set to Active? (Not paused, in review, or ended)

  2. Does your ads wallet have sufficient balance? (Finance → Wallet)

  3. Has your creative been approved? Campaigns submitted today go live at the earliest the next day

  4. Is your scheduled start date in the past?

If all of the above are confirmed and the campaign still isn't running, contact our support team with your campaign ID and account details.

Can Chowdeck support create a campaign for me?

No — campaign creation is fully self-serve. Our support team can guide you through the platform, but we no longer create or manage campaigns on your behalf. Everything is available directly at grow.chowdeck.com.

My creative was rejected — what now?

Creative rejections are usually due to image spec issues (wrong dimensions or file size), content that violates the Chowdeck Advertising Policy, or an invalid destination URL. Review the requirements, update your creative, and resubmit. If you're unsure why it was rejected, contact our support team.

I'm interested in Push Notifications or a large custom deal

Push Notifications are available to external advertisers (not self-serve vendors). For large spend, negotiated rates, or enterprise packages, please reach out to the Chowdeck partnerships team — our support team can connect you.

Where can I see the full rate card?

You can view all placements and their current pricing at any time on the Rate Card page — no login required.
