Step 1: Create Menu Categories
Before adding your items, organize them into categories (e.g. Rice, Drinks, Mains).
In the Vendor App, tap the Menu icon at the bottom.
Select Categories, tap the “+ Add Category” button.
Enter a category name, toggle Publish now, then tap Create category.
Repeat to add all needed categories.

Step 2: Add Menu Items
Once categories are in place, start adding your items:
Select the category, tap the + button.
Fill in:
Name (e.g. Jollof Rice)
Description (highlight key ingredients clearly)
Image (must reflect the actual serving)
Price and Price description (e.g. “per plate”)
Step 3: Add Packs
If packaging costs are separate:
Go to the Packs tab under Menu.
Tap + to create a pack (e.g. “Medium Container”) with its price.
When editing a menu item, scroll to Select Pack, then choose the relevant pack.

Step 4: Add Options
Use Option Groups to let customers choose variants (e.g. spice level, protein type):
Tap Add an Option Group while editing the item.
Name the group (e.g. "Fries Size").
Set how many options customers can select.
Add Option Items like “French Fries” or “Sweet Potato Fries” with optional prices.
Save and Publish your selection.
You can also link existing menu items as options if you're not modifying their prices.

Step 5: Finalize and Go Live
After filling out item details:
Toggle In Stock if available.
Tap Add Item to Menu to publish it.
Step 6: Re-order your menu
Ensure your most popular or high‑margin items appear first:
In the dashboard’s Menu Management section (under “Restaurant”), tap Re‑order rank.
Click and drag using the “=“ icon to rearrange items.
