The service fee is a customer fee that appears on your price breakdown at checkout on the Chowdeck app. Unlike other customer fees, the service fee is based on your order subtotal — a percentage of your bill, excluding the delivery fee. We know the service fee grows with the size of your order, which is why we've capped it so it never becomes excessive.

Getting food delivered anytime, anywhere is convenient, but running a delivery service can be extremely expensive. At Chowdeck, we take pride in delivering happiness to your doorstep with every delivery. To do this well, we need to cover technology costs, transaction processing fees and customer support. The fees applied at checkout help us cover these costs and keep serving you, our valued customer.
