Can I cancel or modify my order after I’ve paid?

Learn how order cancellations and modifications work on Chowdeck.

Once you place an order on Chowdeck, we start processing it right away to ensure fast delivery. However, there are limited windows for cancellations or changes — and they depend on how far along your order is.


Cancelling an Order

You can cancel your order directly in the app, but only before the vendor accepts it.

If the vendor has not yet accepted, you’ll see a “Cancel Order” button on your ongoing order screen. Once the vendor accepts, this option will disappear and in-app cancellation is no longer possible.

To cancel your order in the app:

  1. Find and select your ongoing order.

  2. In the order tracking screen, tap “Cancel order.”

  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to confirm the cancellation.

If your order has already been accepted, please reach out to our Support Team via in-app chat or by sending an email to [email protected].

While cancellation isn’t guaranteed at that stage, we’ll do our best to help — and in some cases, we may be able to cancel the order manually or issue a partial refund, depending on the situation.


Modifying an Order After Payment

If you want to make a change to your order (e.g., update an item, add instructions), please reach out to our Support Team via the in-app chat as quickly as possible.

While we’ll do our best to assist, modifications after payment are not guaranteed, especially if the order has already been accepted or prepared by the vendor.
