Restaurants have their own opening and closing times, so the Chowdeck app itself doesn't have one fixed time when it "opens." What's available to you at any moment depends on which restaurants near you are currently open.
Operations typically start by 8:00 AM for most vendors, including most breakfast spots and cafes. That said, this can vary depending on the day, the type of restaurant, and your location.
Checking a restaurant's opening hours
Open the app and browse restaurants in your area.
Tap on a restaurant to view its details.
Its opening and closing hours will be shown on its profile.
Why does a restaurant show as "closed" even during its usual hours?
Occasionally, a restaurant may show as closed even during the hours it's normally open. This isn't a fault with the app — it usually just means the restaurant itself isn't able to take orders right now. This can happen for a few reasons:
They've temporarily paused orders (for example, if they're very busy, low on ingredients, or closing up early for the day)
Their listed hours may not perfectly reflect when they're actually taking orders
They may be briefly unavailable while updating their menu or details
If a restaurant you want to order from shows as closed, we'd suggest checking back a little later or trying another nearby option in the meantime.
